🧠 Overview

ElectriGo Cab offers a seamless and intuitive ride-booking experience, designed with accessibility, affordability, and safety at its core. With a 100% electric fleet, it promotes eco-friendly travel, reducing pollution and contributing to a healthier environment. The platform ensures hassle-free transportation through effortless booking and cancellation, live tracking for real-time ride visibility, and cost-effective fares that make sustainable mobility accessible to all. By integrating efficiency, sustainability, and user-centric design, ElectriGo redefines urban transportation, making it more convenient, secure, and environmentally conscious.

❗ Problem Statement

Many users struggle to find sustainable and affordable transportation, especially during peak hours when securing a cab is challenging. Traditional ride-sharing services rely on petrol-based vehicles, resulting in high costs, increased pollution, and long-term environmental harm. Additionally, safety concerns remain a priority for passengers.

ElectriGo addresses these issues by providing 100% electric cabs, ensuring an eco-friendly, cost-effective travel solution. With an intuitive booking experience and built-in live tracking features, users can enjoy a safer and more reliable ride while contributing to a greener future.

🎯 Goals & Objectives

  • Enhance user experience with intuitive booking and cancellation.

  • Strengthen accessibility through live tracking and assistive features.

  • Promote sustainability with a 100% electric fleet and reduced emissions.

  • Ensure safety with secure ride authentication and driver verification.

  • Optimize affordability to make eco-friendly mobility accessible.

🔍 User Research

To better understand user needs, I conducted 10 interviews with individuals aged 20-55, identifying key pain points in existing ride-hailing services. Users consistently expressed the need for a fast, accessible interface that prioritizes safety. A major concern was the uncertainty of driver arrival times—many users wanted real-time visibility into driver location and direct access to contact details, reducing wait times and enhancing convenience.

Through these interviews, 80% of users emphasized the importance of real-time driver tracking and contact details, ensuring a smoother and safer travel experience. Based on these insights, ElectriGo integrate direct driver contact information into the booking process, allowing users to plan their rides efficiently and minimize wait times.

One user emphasized, "I want a simple way to book, but I also need to feel secure knowing where my driver is."

🧠 Ideation & Wireframes

Hand-drawn sketches

Low-fidelity wireframe

“Initially, I sketched multiple layout ideas for the home screen. I explored a bottom nav vs. a floating button model. After feedback, I chose a layout with persistent tabs for better discoverability.”
